well, it's been a week of hard work in the studio. well 6 days, last sunday through friday. we had a break this weekend and we go back tomorrow.
what's been done so far...
Sunday:
-Meet up with Bobbo (engineer) and James (musical mastermind), at Paper Tiger Studio in Columbus and listen to the rough tracks we recorded the night before at Illicit. Talk about how to improve, and what not.
-Set up drum set and let it get used to it's surroundings.
-Brett aqnd Cameron go home, leaving Dennis, Dom, and me there for the week.
-Leave studio and go to Dennis' mom's to eat dinner and try to sleep inside with a cat and a dog.
-Leave house to go sleep in car.
Monday:
-Wake up in car, drive to the studio.
-Tune up drums and start recording.
-Lunch
-Get four songs done and go out for dinner with James, Dom, Dennis, Joe and a couple of James' friends.
-Go to Dennis' mom's, sleep in my car.
Tuesday:
-Wake up, drive to studio.
-Record three more songs, lunch in between.
-Finally go to stay with Adam at Capital University.
-BBQ chicken pizza.
-Shower... finally.
Wednesday:
-Wake up on the common room couch, drive to studio down the street.
-Record last song
-Lunch
-Bobbo starts editting drums to get ready for guitar recording
-Stay at Capital, eat ice cream for dinner.
Thursday:
-Official last day of drums, get sample tracks of snare, rack tom and floor tom.
-Tear down kit.
-Lunch.
-Finish editting some songs and start recording guitar, Goooooo Dom!
(-Throughout all the week we watch bad and good indie movies.)
-Go to Capital to eat and sleep once again.
Friday:
-Sleep in until noon.
-Go to studio and relax while dom finishes up a few songs.
-Lunch.
-Pack the drums in to the Cavalier and come back home (Cleveland).
-Shower... again, finally.
-Spend the night with Nicole.
Saturday and Sunday:
-Spend time at home not playing music, spending time with Nicole, driving around and reading, and watching the Bills game.
-Leave in the morning to go back to Columbus and finish the album.
Heck yeah folks.
Week two come after this week.
Duh.
